Overview

RoboCup 2017 has designated Nippon Express Co., Ltd. for the official logistics partner.

For the above reasons, RoboCup 2017 strongly recommends that you consider the use of our official logistics partner in order to obtain safe and smooth logistics service for your precious robots and equipments.

Nippon Express Co., Ltd. will be happy to provide help for the specific requirements of your transportation.

Cargo Logistics

Nippon Express and RoboCup 2017 organization will take control of the movement of vehicles (e.g. trucks and vans) in order to avoid traffic congestion around the venue. The traffic will be regulated during the period from July 25th to 31st. We ask all participants to kindly follow the instructions as described below.

Submission of application form
Regardless of whether you choose to ask NIPPON EXPRESS or other transportation company to arrange the delivery to the NIPPON EXPRESS HUB warehouse, we ask all the participants to submit the application form to NIPPON EXPRESS.
Failure to submit the application form may result in delivery delay and possibly refusal of acceptance at the HUB warehouse.
Please note that all cargo except for what is brought by hand must be once gathered in NIPPON EXPRESS HUB warehouse.
NIPPON EXPRESS arranges the delivery from the HUB warehouse to the requested facility.

Delivery Address

All cargo (excluding baggage) must be delivered to Nippon Express HUB warehouse
by the stipulated deadlines. DO NOT deliver directly to the site Portmesse Nagoya/Takeda Teva Ocean Arena. Nippon Express Co., Ltd. will handle from HUB warehouse to the site Portmesse Nagoya/Takeda Teva Ocean Arena.

Important Note

Responsibility at the venue
Every team is responsible for receiving their own goods at the venue. RoboCup 2017 will not receive or store any goods.
RoboCup 2017 organization is not responsible for calamities, disputes or claims concerning direct agreements between participants and any shipper.
For any transportation matters, please consult with your logistics partner directly.

Check Sheet for Export Trade Control Order
In Japan, we have export regulation called "Export Trade Control Order". According to this law, you have to confirm that your cargo doesn’t include any dangerous items which can be used as weapons before you ship your cargo from Japan to your country.
Please download and fill out the check sheet below and submit it to NIPPON EXPRESS or other transportation company before the return shipment.
