RoboCup2017 Nagoya Japan(ロボカップ2017)
The Amazon Robotics Challenge, a robot contest sponsored by Amazon Robotics LLC, will coincide with RoboCup 2017 Nagoya, Japan.
The Amazon Robotics Challenge, to be held in Japan for the first time will draw 16 teams from around the world. The teams will demonstrate the latest hardware and software for enabling robots to retrieve items and store them.
The robots will be evaluated based on the number of items they successfully retrieve and store within a designated period, and judged on abilities like object recognition, posture control, and grasp planning. A total of US$250,000 will be awarded to the winning teams.
*The ticket holders are permitted to vist Amazon Robotics Challenge, as well.
